The ultra perfect Wood Wood Abril Tee

The Wood Wood tee that I've been raving about so much and was sold out everywhere is now available on Totokaelo. The price is an insane markup from what I paid for at Creatures of Comfort and Frances May but I personally think it's worth it, given how much use I get out of it. A word of caution: the shirt runs really slim through the body. Garment measurements (in centimeters) are available here. I've worn them all through last summer and under a cardigan and wool pants for winter. The half sleeves and boatneck is universally flattering and the material is sturdy and soft, almost fleecelike. I've tried (and purchased) a good many breton tees, ranging from the ubiquitous to upscale and nothing matches the style and value of the Wood Wood breton tee.


Also, I don't know if it's serendipity but the winner of the vintage Coach leather satchel giveaway is Jennifer who has been following this blog from the start. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and I'm sorry I had only one bag to give away instead of eleven.

    That shirt really does look like the perfect shirt. I have a couple JCrew striped shirts in a similar shape that are so crappily made...I think this would be a great substitute!

    Ah it really is very pretty! I wanted to order it from Frances May last week, but they had run out of the size L. I hope they restock! At this price, I'd have to think about whether I'd prefer to get a Saint James shirt.

    Jennifer: J.Crew has seriously gone down hill in quality since 5 years ago. I only ever buy skirts and pants there once a year.

    V: Totokaelo's markup is insane. I think it was about $55 on Frances May (which is why I nabbed an extra one when I was in Portland). Saint James runs really big on me, although I do think that the Minquiers 10 is the most flattering out of the Saint James catalog.

    i picked up one from frances may and have worn it non-stop. however, i cannot believe the mark-up at totokaelo!

    I got mine from Mohawk General Store for $62 about a week ago. I agree that the fabric is marvelous!

    Argie: The material is a little thick for tucking in though, I think. But stripes and a full skirt is so French chic.

    Love it! Of course I had to google it to see if I could find it in this area, I live 20 minutes from Denmark, and since Wood Wood is Danish I though that I'd find it pretty fast. It seems like it's sold out...
